In 2011, our father was diagnosed with terminal cancer. At the time, Danielle was a full-time mom, raising three kids under the age of seven while helping with the business when she could, and Andi was building a career in sports television.
As our father’s health declined in the spring of 2012, we faced a life-changing decision—whether to take on ExpressIt, the company he had built. When he passed that summer, the business entered a period of uncertainty, and we made the choice to step in. At that point, ExpressIt was operating with just 13 drivers, two operations managers, and a handful of accounts across Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Despite having no prior business experience, we leaned on what we knew—hard work, resilience, and a people-first approach.
Fast forward to today, ExpressIt has grown into a thriving operation with over 200 drivers and a 14-person management team, servicing customers throughout the Northeast. Our journey has been anything but traditional, but it has reinforced what we believe at our core: success is built on trust, strong relationships, and always delivering on our promises.
